Do NOT let the somewhat blighted neighborhood dissuade you from coming here. Inside this restaurant and gaming tavern are super clean and attractive. The walls are all adorned with beautiful works of art, generally with nautical themes. There is a separate dining area that is totally enclosed, so you don't have to eat with cigarette smoke wafting through. The dining area is so amazing, like walking into the 1970's, with all sort of red leather booths and chairs, rich mahogany woods galore. The food is excellent, you will have a hard time finding a better plate of fish and chips in Las Vegas. I haven't spent much time at the bar area. But it is also super clean and typically populated with your standard local gamblers, hunched over their machines and slappin' the buttons. I always drop by when I'm in the area. Check it out!

We love Village Pub & Poker! I especially prefer eating here on Fridays because they make delicious Clam Chowders! We ate here many times in the past few years, and never had any bad experiences. Food is always fresh and delicious! There is a special on every day! Rarely choose any daily special, but I enjoy the meal whatever I decide to eat. Their famous Fish and chips is always a great choice! Their 24 hours Special is the Steak and Eggs for $9.99 and it is delicious. Service is also great! Servers are always courteous and very friendly. There is a separate bar area enclosed by glass walls, and there is smoking allowed. In the main dining room there are comfortable chairs and booths for seating and no smoking allowed. They offer drink specials during Happy Hours!
